I saw Steve Marriott at the Bridgehouse, Canning Town. A brilliant night. I think he was billed as Packet of Three. He necked a bottle of brandy on stage.

Saw the three remaining Beatles play a 45 minute set with Julian Lennon circa 2002 which was pretty good and as far as I can see unique, been trying to see how often Julian played with Paul, George and Ringo and canā€™t see any mention of it onlineā€¦ pretty sure I didnā€™t imagine it.

Loved to have seem the Small Faces live.
I know Steve Marriott played the Bridge House in the 80s, which is bittersweet.
Very sad end for a great musician

The Cure in 1982/3 at Elephant Fair festival in Cornwall is an event i`ll never forget.

To this day i can take or leave a lot of their stuff, but what a venue, i was 14 /15 years old and i`ve still not recovered.

So many that stand out and all for different be reasons

I couldn't name the besr to be honest.

Most have been of the heavy rock/metal genre.

When younger purley for the bands and music, be as got older it's the beer and experience.

Grand Master Flash or Kid Creole and the Coconuts at Friars back in the day - proper stage acts

Stevie Wonder at Wembley Pool (as I call it) - brilliant

Jackson at Wembley Stadium - of it's day

Biggest let down was Dianna Ross, shambles of a sound system, looked like she could not be arsed and sang like it

RATM at the Stockholm Palladium in 1993 is one that comes to mind.

The Who live at The Valley 1974...supported by Lou Reed, Humble Pie, Bad Company, Lindisfarne, Maggie Bell and Montrose. Was a pretty good day out too.

Sarge 12:10 Tue Aug 24

It was indeed Sarge. Some woman had been stalking him and was a bit of a nutter by all accounts. Could have been a knife, beer bottle, anything. I thought he did well to continue actually but bet security got fired! Saw them the night before in Brighton as well but it was more light applause and sitting there. Hammersmith the following year was also good.
